Il existe des mots, des expressions qui permettent au professeur de donner des consignes et instructions aux élèves et aux élèves de les comprendre et poser des questions en anglais.
Ce vocabulaire (champ lexical) est appelé "Classroom English", littéralement "l'anglais utilisé en classe". "Classroom English" désigne le vocabulaire anglais employé en cours d'anglais permettant de nommer les objets de la classe, les situations rencontrées à l'école et de comprendre les consignes données par votre professeur en anglais. Ce vocabulaire permet également de poser des questions à votre professeur.
Il est utile d'avoir un petit carnet regroupant ces expressions couramment employées en cours d'anglais. On peut également retourner le cahier d'anglais et noter ce vocabulaire à la fin.
